Trane offers a good warranty on the single-stage XB90 gas furnace that includes lifetime limited coverage on the heat exchanger and 5-year coverage on internal functional parts. If the furnace is installed as part of an entire XB HVAC system, the parts warranty increases to 10 years.

  • Five-Year Limited Warranty on internal functional parts.
  • If Your XB90 Gas Furnace is installed at the same time as a new Trane XLi Outdoor Condensing Unit it will be covered for 10 years on Internal Functional Parts as part of the Outdoor Unit System.
  • Optional Extended Warranties available. Extended warranties cover labor, refrigerant, and other costs not covered by Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty so you are covered for all parts and labor for the lifetime of the warranties.
  • Warranties are for residential use.

The unit must be registered within 60 days after the installation to get the warranty features. Extended warranties for Trane xb90 is also available to cover labor costs.
